HOL001 - REIKI LEVEL 2

Reiki is the power of the universe. During this workshop students will learn how to work with the energy to heal the body physically, mentally and spiritually. One of the greatest Reiki healing health benefits is stress reduction and relaxation, which triggers the body’s natural healing abilities, and improves the overall well-being. Reiki healing is a natural therapy that gently balances life energies and brings health and well-being to the recipient.

HOL002 - TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

This amazing 3-day course will tackle the person’s emotional health and its effect on our body. Qi (energy) flows through our bodies in pathways called meridians. The function of the meridians is to carry the essential substances throughout the body, thus creating a comprehensive network of communication on all levels of the being.

What is Qi, and how we can work with it?

• Energy channels and meridians and their location, together with their function.
• An understanding of the key acupunctural points and tools to interact with the meridians and points using accupressure massage, essential oils and moxa sticks.

HOL003 - CHAKRA WORKSHOP

This workshop will lead you on an introductory journey through the Chakras. The workshop will explain what our body is telling us through illness and fear and it will also explain how the Chakras can hold the memory and knowledge of our life experience. This course will also introduce you to the use of a pendulum in energy healing.

HOL004 - REFLEXOLOGY

During this 2- day post- graduate workshop, students will learn how to work with reflex points of the feet using essential oils, massage and acupressure.

This 2 day course will cover:

• Acupressure points and meridians of the feet;
• How to find these points;
• How to release tension and toxins from and through these points;
• A relaxing 30 minute massage of the feet;
• Essential oils for common foot problems;
• Essential oils to aid relaxation.

This  is a post-graduate workshop for qualified therapists

HOL005 - AROMATHERAPY Part 1

You will learn the Massage Sequences of a full body massage including lymph drainage; Aromatherapy facial including scalp massage, Pregnancy Massage and Baby Massage.

HOL006 - CUPPING

Chinese Cupping Massage is the ultimate in therapeutic deep tissue massage. Cupping Massage is a modified version of the common practice of cupping therapy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The results that this simple treatment produces are impressive.

Through suction and negative pressure Cupping Massage:

• Releases rigid soft tissue
• Drains excess fluid and toxins Loosens adhesions
• Lifts connective tissue

Indian Head Massage is part of the Ayurvedic bodywork healing system. Like Yoga & Tantra, Ayurveda is an ancient life discipline that has been practiced in India for over five thousand years. This certificate course covers:

• Massage techniques
• Ayurvedic philosophy of health
• The subtle anatomy of the body Chakras

This is a three-day course & requires 25 hours of home studies

HOL010 - JANE SCRIVNER - STONE THERAPY

Foundation Stone may well be your first journey exploring the use of alternating temperatures and using stones within a massage treatment.  Here you will learn the principles of thermotherapy and stone energy,   the art of performing treatment balance between mental stimulation and body relaxation, and extremely effective techniques to achieve powerful responses in the body.

This course is a stand-alone and gives you all you need to become a competent JANE SCRIVNER STONE Thermotherapist.  More importantly, it is the foundation stone on which to build your future stone career – WELCOME!

The Foundation Course will provide the therapist with every skill s/he needs to deliver a 75 minute luxurious hot and cold stone treatment. You will learn how temperature works deep in the muscles and for relaxation. You will also learn deep tissue work and facial techniques, all with the use of the stones.

You will be able to carry out a full body treatment or tailor a shorter version to suit your clients requirements.

NEW: HOL011 - LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE

About the course:

Lymphatic drainage massage is a very soft and gently form of massage. It uses a VERY light pressure combined with soft pumping action working in the direction of the lymph nodes only.

It is designed to stimulate the body's lymphatic system which helps the body to eliminate waste and toxins. It also improves metabolism and boosts to the immune system.

Course content:

• The anatomy of the lymphatic system
• Location of nodes
• Drainage patterns
• Contraindications
• Indications for lymphatic drainage massage
• Oedema
• How to perform lymphatic drainage on yourself

Upon completion of the course:

The student will know how to perform a treatment which is specific to an area of the body:

• The face
• The upper body
• The abdomen
• Lower body
• And a full body lymphatic drainage massage.

Lymphatic drainage massage is excellent for:

• Clients who get recurrent colds, sore throats etc
• Clients who do not or can not take much exercise
• Clients suffering with oedema
• Clients who have low energy levels.

The massage can be incorporated into any massage sequence or it can be a stand alone treatment.

This course does NOT cover:

Lymph drainage massage for the following conditions:

• In Cancer care
• Major heart conditions
